From M1 Travelling North

  • Exit at Junction 25 and take the A52 towards Derby.
  • After about 7 miles of almost motorway quality road with optional exits, you are brought to a roundabout (the Pentagon roundabout the road sign reflects this shape).
  • Take the 3rd exit, the A61 (the first, after going under the flyover), signposted to Chesterfield, and proceed for three-quarters of a mile to the next roundabout.
  • Take the first exit, the A608, signposted for Heanor.
  • After about 4 miles, and a mile after passing Derby College (Broomfield Hall) on your left, take the turning on the right signed for Stanley, Chaddesden and (on the sign at the junction itself) Morley Church.
  • After 150 metres, and immediately by the Give Way to Oncoming Traffic sign, bear left into the slightly rising and easy to miss drive, (look for the blue sign).
  • We share the first part of our driveway with St Matthews’ Parish Church. The House is directly ahead and the car park is to the rear of the House.

From M1 Travelling South

  • Exit at Junction 28 and follow the A38 to the outskirts of Derby.
  • After about 11 miles, on the outskirts of Derby, you come to a roundabout where you take the A61 towards Breadsall.
  • Again turn left at next roundabout.
  • Then stay on this road, bearing right at the difficult junction on a bend and just past the shop, and up the hill to a T junction.
  • Turn left onto the A608, pass Derby College (Broomfield Hall) on the left; take the turning on the right signed for Stanley, Chaddesden and (on the sign at the junction itself) Morley Church.
