Service of Celebration for Morley

On a sunny Saturday afternoon in May a good crowd turned up at The Hayes in Swanwick to celebrate all that had happened at Morley Retreat House over the past fifty years.

The service was organised by The Friends of Morley and participants included Nicholas Henshall, the last Chairman of the Friends; Pat Gower, the Chaplain and her predecessor Susan Bailey.

At the end of the service everyone received a 40 page booklet of "Morley Memories 1959 - 2009" which contained contributions from many guests and staff before partaking in an excellent finger buffet provided by The Hayes.
